Natural resources are gift of nature which is denuded with increased anthropogenic activities and demand for the resources by humankind. It’s the time to restore our natural resources through proper management strategies so that our future generation can have enough for their sustenance. Natural resource management is only possible with active participation of the local community members through alternative sources of livelihood in justice with the local climate and environment so that nature conservation of an area is ensured. If such initiatives are taken with local peoples’ participation then cumulative result would give rise to large scale ecosystem based conservation of natural resources. Such programmes and interventions would also address number of Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) through an integrated approach of livelihood intensification.
