Our Profile
Centre for Sustainable Development and Research (CSDR), established in 2019, is a registered civil society trust (registered under Trust Act) who works for the cause of nature and life. Our main focus is to conserve natural resources, promote livelihood security for sustenance of life, improve the quality of environment and provide a safer green mother earth to future generation. C S D R also extends its support by providing education and training in association with other support services by our team members. We work on the basis of both scientific and action research, knowledge dissemination, economic appropriation, socially just to attain the sustainable development goals. C S D R provides the platform to the young researchers, career developers and grass root rural workers (interested in action research and learning) to work hand in hand. We also provide consultancy services to different organizations and/or individuals. We welcome concept and research projects from individual consultants who can independently work with C S D R.
What we do
We work with local community members, young professionals, researchers and experienced personnel in the field of Agriculture, Education, Environment, Ecology, Forestry, Management, Public Health, Social Science etc. Our aim is to support rural poor to conserve, manage and improve their environment and provide food and livelihood security with a holistic approach of sustainability.
